What Is a Home Inspection?

Description of a Charlotte inspection is an independent, non-invasive inspection of the current condition of a property, most often in conjunction with the actual sale of the property. Home inspections are generally performed by a licensed home inspector who possess the proper licensing and certification to do such inspections. Home inspectors may also refer buyers to the appropriate home inspector for any reason. Such inspections typically include the visual examination of the structure, roof, plumbing, electrical, cooling, heating, insulation, and other mechanical components of the property. Such inspections do not usually include the inspection of interior or exterior air quality.

Home Inspection Information Typically supplied by the home inspector during the inspection, some home inspection information comprises: a) general information b) specific details c) recommendations d) conditions of repair and installation and e) home warranties. Generally, the home inspection information contained herein can be considered a general overview or summary and is not intended to identify particular defects, systems, specifications, or functions of any part, feature or appliance.
